Program Overview
The Green Cleaning certificate is a short, face-to-face course that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to implement green cleaning practices in their workplace. Students will learn about the benefits of green cleaning, the different types of green cleaning products and equipment available, and how to develop and implement green cleaning procedures for different surfaces and areas. |

- Identify and select the appropriate green cleaning products and equipment for different cleaning tasks.
- Use green cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain green cleaning products and equipment properly.
- Dispose of green cleaning products and waste materials safely.
- Module 3: Green Cleaning Procedures
- Develop and implement green cleaning procedures for different types of surfaces and areas, such as floors, walls, windows, furniture, and restrooms.
- Clean different types of surfaces and areas safely and effectively using green cleaning methods.
- Inspect cleaned surfaces and areas to ensure that they are clean and free of contaminants.
- Module 4: Green Cleaning for Different Surfaces and Areas
- Apply green cleaning procedures to specific surfaces and areas, such as kitchens, bathrooms, schools, hospitals, and offices.
- Address the unique cleaning challenges of different surfaces and areas using green cleaning methods.
- Develop and implement green cleaning plans for different surfaces and areas.
- High school or equivalent
