Program Overview
The Introduction to Cleaning and Maintenance Techniques certificate is a short, face-to-face course that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to work in a cleaning and maintenance department in a hotel or other hospitality establishment. Students will learn about the different procedures involved in cleaning and maintenance, the different types of cleaning chemicals and safety precautions, and the importance of housekeeping hygiene and infection control. |
