Program Overview
This is a short, face-to-face course that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to clean windows safely and effectively. Students will learn about the different types of window cleaning equipment and supplies, as well as the proper techniques for cleaning different types of windows. They will also learn about the safety procedures that must be followed when cleaning windows. |

Module 1: Window Cleaning Equipment and Supplies
- Identify and select the appropriate window cleaning equipment and supplies for different types of windows and cleaning tasks.
- Use window cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
- Maintain window cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
- Module 2: Window Cleaning Techniques
- Develop and implement window cleaning procedures for different types of windows, such as single-pane windows, double-pane windows, and skylights.
- Clean windows safely and effectively using a variety of methods, such as the squeegee method, the pole method, and the water-fed pole system.
- Inspect cleaned windows to ensure that they are streak-free and free of contaminants.
- Module 3: Window Cleaning Safety
- Identify and assess window cleaning safety hazards.
- Develop and implement window cleaning safety procedures.
- Work safely at heights when cleaning windows.
- Respond to and investigate window cleaning accidents and incidents.
- High school or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
