Program Overview

The Introduction to Front Office Operations certificate is a short, face-to-face course that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to work in a front office department in a hotel or other hospitality establishment. Students will learn about the different procedures involved in front office operations, the different types of guest services, and the use of hotel PMS.
    Module 1: Introduction to the Front Office

  • Understand the different functions of the front office, such as guest registration, check-in and check-out, and room assignments.

    Module 3: Front Office Equipment and Technology
  • Understand the different types of equipment and technology used in the front office, such as PMS, POS, and guestroom TVs.
