Level 2 Food Safety and Sanitation

Program Overview

The Food Safety and Sanitation certificate is a short, face-to-face course that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to understand and apply food safety principles in a restaurant setting. Students will learn about the different types of foodborne illnesses, as well as how to prevent them. They will also learn about the importance of cleaning and sanitizing, personal hygiene, temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, food storage and handling, and documenting food safety practices.
    Module 1: Introduction to Food Safety and Sanitation
