Program Overview

The Risk Management certificate is a short, face-to-face course that provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to manage risks in facilities management. Students will learn about the different types of risks, how to identify and assess risks, how to develop and implement risk management plans, and how to monitor and evaluate risk management. They will also learn about the specific risks associated with facilities management and how to mitigate them.
    Module 1: Introduction to Risk Management

  • Apply risk management principles to real-world scenarios.
    Module 2: Identifying and Assessing Risks

  • Communicate identified and assessed risks to stakeholders.
    Module 3: Developing and Implementing Risk Management Plans
  • Develop risk management plans that identify and mitigate risks.
  • Select and implement appropriate risk treatment strategies.

    Module 4: Monitoring and Evaluating Risk Management
